July 3rd Sunset / Fireworks Sail
We sail from Highlands to Keansburg to watch their fireworks from off the Pier.
Departs 7:30pm and returns between 10:30 & 11pm. Soft drinks, bottled water, ice and parking included. BYOB beer & wine. NO hard liquor please. Reserve on-line or call 732-739-6765
July 4th- Public Sunset / Fireworks Sail to nowhere
7-10 pm. $85 per person.
Our annual favorite Sunset Sail on Sandy Hook Bay. We sail to nowhere and watch a beautiful sunset. Shortly after dark the Bayshore ignites with Fireworks displays in every direction including the grandaddy of them all- Macy's NYC- exploding in the distance over Manahattan! It is both tranquil & spectacular! A one of a kind view you can only witness from on the water in the heart of the world's most populated estuary!
July 5th Atlantic Highlands Sunset / Fireworks Sail
Offered as a Private Charter this is one of our most popular annual events!
Departing at 7pm we sail through Sunset on Sandy Hook Bay and then anchor up for the A/H Fireworks! Afterwards a short trip back to the dock gets us home by shortly after 10pm. BYOB and cater a picnic or dinner aboard.

New this year we also offer the 6 person charter vessel Prime Timefor smaller groups, couples and families. Owned and operated by our partner and ASA instructor Capt. Frank Muratore.
Capt. Frank keeps this Catalina 34 in show room condition and she has all the best in technology and sail inventory.
Need something a little smaller than our big cats, we have a solution- Charter Prime Time!
She sails from Monmouth Cove Marina in Port Monmouth.

The Kathleen D sails from the Sandy Hook Bay Marina in historic Highlands, NJ. Located dockside at the marina adjacent to the Original Oyster restaurant.
Direct high speed ferry service to our marina is available from Manhattan via Sea Streak .
Historic Sandy Hook was amongst Henry Hudson's first landfall sightings in the new world. Then as today, the Sandy Hook peninsula provides a protective barrier for Sandy Hook Bay (on which we sail) from the swells of the North Atlantic. Comfort and security will ensure you a relaxing ride in sight of Sandy Hook Light, America's oldest operating lighthouse. Standing sentinel since 1764 over the Hook, the lighthouse provides a historic exclamation point to the natural beauty and the incredible industry of the citizens who live in Americas largest urban estuary.
From Mt. Mitchell, the highest point along the eastern seaboard, to the mighty North Atlantic beyond the Hook, from the beautiful Twin Lights of Highlands, to the graceful span of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline beyond, there is no more dynamic a location to be sailing through than the Kathleen D's summer waters!
